Privacy Policy of the “PickWise” Application
This privacy policy is addressed to all users who download and use the PickWise mobile application (hereinafter, the “Application” or the “App”) and aims to inform about the processing of personal data in accordance with current data protection legislation in the countries of the Americas where the application is used, including, but not limited to, the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Mexico), Law 1581 of 2012 (Colombia), Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life (Chile), Law No. 29733 (Peru), the Law on the Protection of the Person in the Processing of Their Personal Data (Costa Rica), and any other applicable legislation.
By using PickWise, the user (hereinafter, the “User”) accepts the terms of this Privacy Policy and authorizes the processing of their personal data for the purposes established herein.
Data Controller
The entity responsible for the processing of personal data is the company that operates PickWise, whose contact information will be visible in the “Contact” section within the application. If the company has regional affiliates or partners, they may also be jointly responsible for data processing in accordance with local legislation.
Data Collected
The App may collect the following personal data from the User:
First and last name.
Email address.
Phone number.
Country or region of use.
Username and password (or other access method).
Navigation data within the App and usage of functionalities.
Device identifier (Device ID).
Information captured through cookies or similar technologies.
Photographs submitted by the User to validate products.
Biometric, financial, or precise location data will not be collected unless explicit consent is provided.
Purpose of Processing
Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
Provision of the service: Validate products through images, manage the User’s account, send operational or technical notifications, and maintain the proper functioning of the App.
Legal compliance: Comply with legal obligations or requirements from competent authorities.
Additional purposes (with prior User consent):
Sending promotions, updates, or surveys.
Sharing data with third parties for commercial or statistical purposes.
Behavioral analysis to improve services (non-automated profiling).
Consent for promotional purposes is optional and may be withdrawn at any time.
Legal Basis for Processing
The legal bases for data processing are:
The User’s informed consent.
The performance of a contract (use of the App).
Compliance with legal obligations.
International Data Transfers
In the event that personal data is transferred to servers or partners outside the User’s country, such transfer will be carried out in accordance with international standards and appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or mechanisms recognized by local law.
Data Retention
Personal data will be retained only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Afterwards, it will be securely deleted, unless additional retention is required by law.

Technical, organizational, and administrative security measures are implemented to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
User Rights
The User may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, or data portability (as provided by their country’s legislation) through a request submitted via the contact form or communication method provided within the App.
Additionally, the User may withdraw their consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
Account and Data Deletion
The User may request the complete deletion of their account and data from the App settings. This action revokes consent and terminates the use of services.
Modifications to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be modified based on legal updates or service improvements. Updated versions will always be available within the App. In the event of substantial changes, Users will be notified for prior acceptance.
